CLIF Builders Bar
CLIF Builders Bar
What we think
Protein is the building block for muscles and if you don't give your body the protein it needs to build itself up then you won't see results –or recover– as quickly.
We're big proponents of high-quality protein here at The Feed.
Clif Builder's Bars are a protein powerhouse, making them a great post-workout option. With 20 grams of complete protein, from soy protein isolate, these bars give you everything you need to help your muscles rebuild and recover from a hard training session. It contains all of the essential amino acids your body needs to repair itself so you can get the most from each training session.
With layers of crunch, nougat and a chocolate coating, these bars have a unique texture and provide an exciting alternative to regular protein bars. With great flavors, ingredients and no artificial sweeteners, sugar alcohols or trans fats, Clif has delivered a classic recovery bar that passes our test. Not to mention, these bars are non-GMO and contain mostly organic and Rainforest Alliance Certified ingredients!
The Feed’s Fave: Chocolate Mint.
How to use it:
We like to take these with us for a post-workout protein packed treat. It contains the protein, carbohydrates, and fats you need to start the recovery process and replenish fuel stores. Because these bars are higher in fats and protein, we recommend saving them for after your workout because they won’t digest as well during exercise and that could be an issue.
Eat one within 30-60 minutes to make sure you’re recovering well and getting the most from your training!
